Spotlight Studios designs, builds and looks after websites from our studio in Ancoats. Since 2011 we’ve
helped more than 350 businesses get found and get enquiries. Start with a free website design, or a

With us, anywhere from £0 to a bespoke quote. Our free website design costs nothing to build and you pay hosting and support from £50 a month. Pro-Sites start at £999 + VAT, custom Pro-Sites at £1,499 + VAT, and fully bespoke sites from £4,999 + VAT. Ecommerce starts at £949 + VAT. The price depends on pages, features and integrations, and you get a fixed quote before anything starts.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most free and Pro-Site websites are live in around five days. Custom and bespoke builds take longer, and we agree the timeline with you before work starts so there are no surprises.
Can I update the website myself?
Yes. Every site comes with an easy content editor, so you can change text, images, news and pages without calling us. We show you how it works at launch, and we’re here if you get stuck.
What is Foundation CMS?
Foundation CMS is the content management system we build new sites on. Your content is edited in a simple admin, and your site runs as its own fast, secure app on Cloudflare’s global network. There are no plugins to hack or update, and the site keeps working even if the editor is offline. We still build and look after WordPress sites when that’s the better fit.
Do you do SEO and AI search optimisation?
Every site we build is set up for search from day one: fast pages, clean structure, structured data and access for AI crawlers. For ongoing growth, our SEO campaigns start at £695 a month + VAT, and every campaign now covers being named in AI answers as well as Google rankings.
Is the free website really free?
Yes, the design and build are free. Hosting and support are chargeable, from £50 a month on a 36-month plan, and free websites are hosted and supported by us. Graphic design, ecommerce and custom development aren’t included but can be added.
